Relaxing Summer Time

I know summertime is usually a stressful time, because your usually home with your kids plus you have automatically adopted some extra kids for 2 months and then they go back to live with their real families. But I am so excited to stay home with my kids and even the extras this summer. I don't know if it is because I have been working and am looking forward to time off, or if it is because I really miss hanging out with my kids!! I can't wait till I have uninterupted time with them. And I really can't wait to hang out at the beach this summer with them. That is my chair and my umbrella where I will be sitting pretty much for 10 hours a day! I just need a bellhop boy to bring me my cherry limeade from sonic and string cheese to my side table there and I will be in heaven. Well I hope all of you enjoy your summer as much as I will!! And talking about Summer Time Vacation, I will be voting on what the best summertime vacation is, the one that I would love to go on, so hurry and send me your summertime plans and I will vote and the winner will receive a summertime survival kit!!! I am not telling you what it is so don't ask! Hurry and get your plans in!!

Cade Did It!!

Well Cade Graduated from Preschool today! He was having a hard time, I don't know if he was being shy or what, so he didn't walk as they would call it, he stood behind the stage and cried. That is just not like him, but Ms. Nikkii went ahead with out him and he still got his diploma. He has learned so much from her and being in her class. He has also made some really great friends. His favorite buddies are Taden and Paige. Taden and Cade are already planning their first sleep over, they are the youngers in the family so they don't understand why they can't have one yet. But when they do I'm telling ya, they are probably going to stay up all night because they are going to be so excited!! It is so wonderful that they can make friends at this age and have such a good time with each other. What a wonderful day it was for Cade and all his preschool friends to graduate together. When Ms. Nikkii was reading their little spot lights of each kid, she came to Cade's and she asked him who he wanted to be when he grew up and he said Tony Hawk, Cade really thinks he is going to be this pro-skater and it cracks me up. Thanks Colton and Conner for doing that to your little brother. But anyway it was a great day and a big thank you to Ms. Nikkii and all her creative work and time with our kids. It really paid off that is for sure.

Running for the Border!!!

Hilarious Story, I have to share. I was walking home today , and it was kind of far from home. And I didn't have a ride so I called Conner and asked if he could meet me and walk home with me, so I don't have to be alone. I am so afraid of being attacked by a dog, so what do I do call my kids and have them be my safety net and hello put there life in danger in case a dog comes along!! I am not a very smart mom sometimes. Anyway back to my story, so I call Conner and he totally comes to walk with me and we decide it would be faster if we hop over the wall to our backyard. Well two things one I haven't hopped over a wall in about 15 years and two I am wearing a skirt. So lets figure this out here. Conner suggested that he would help me over the wall, and this is where I started to laugh out loud! Well then I said maybe you could hop over the wall first and go get me a pair of shorts and then I will put those on and make my wall hopping a little more modest. So he got me a pair of shorts alright, hello Ben's shorts! I was laughing even harder at this point. So anyway I put them on and then here is the real challenge of trying to get my big booty over this wall. I felt so illegal!! But anyway Conner helped me over detail by detail of where my legs were supposed to go and where my hands were supposed to go and before you know it I was over the wall in approximately 10 min. That was pretty good and I didn't even get a scratch or anything. Conner was my hero and he didn't even laugh at me, thanks Conner for helping me cross the border!!! All in all I don't know if I really saved time by hopping the fence that took so long or just walking all the way around! But hopping the fence was a little more living on the edge I do have to say!!
